Antonio Pons Bascones from next September 1, will be the new general director of TIRME, the concessionaire of the urban waste treatment of the Consell de Mallorca. Antonio Pons is currently the Director of Operations and Projects of TIRME, and will take over from Rafael Guinea.

For his part, the until now General Director of TIRME, Rafael Guinea and from that date, will join the management team of URBASER, main shareholder of TIRME, assuming the position of Director of the Treatment Area. This direction will aim to respond proactively to the challenges presented by the transition to circularity and sustainability in the waste sector, thus replicating the management model carried out these years in TIRME. Rafael Guinea will maintain his relationship with TIRME as he will be appointed president of the company.
